  1. Ensure your child contacts their teachers within the first 12 hours. Reinforce that online learning is as important as face-to-face instruction. 
  2. Help them arrange a dedicated workspace at home.
  3. Make sure they can access their classes.
  4. Help your child follow the class schedule every day
  5. Support your child as they check grades daily. At least Weekly, review all classes with your child. Be a coach and a support. Motivate and encourage. Praise success.
  6. Know the support people at the school your child can contact.

  4. Follow the class schedule every day
    • Work during your regular class time or work with your teachers to create an effective daily schedule. 
    • Know when each teacher has class/support hours, and how to access each.
    • District calendar
    • Bell schedule
  5. Daily: check your grades/progress. Weekly: review all classes with a parent.
  6. Have a support person at the school you can contact.
