Celebrate Your Senior!

Parents, you now have the opportunity to celebrate your senior student in the yearbook this year. Take a moment and visit the Josten's website (linked below) to create a Yearbook Recognition Ad for your senior. What better way to celebrate than an ad for all to see in the yearbook. Ads need to be created by February 16th. Don't delay recognizing your senior in this special way.

Weber State will be at Fremont October 28, 2019 from 9am - 1pm for individual student academic advising. 
 
These appointments help students see how many credits they have or help map out which concurrent classes they should be taking. If you would like one of these appointments please see
Lisa Burton in the CTE office. 

The 2nd quarter attendance credit make up class starts Tuesday November 5, 2019. You can take the class twice a year if you need to! Don't put it off until fourth quarter. Take it now.

Students who need to take the class should be in the Lecture Hall, upstairs, before 2:45pm on Tuesday November 5, 2019.

  • The class runs five Tuesdays from 2:45 - 5:45pm.
  • The class restores 1.5 credits; Yes 1.5!
  • You don't need to register in advance, just be there on time November 5th.
  • You will need to pay $90 for the class fee.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday September 25th in the halls of Fremont High School. Conferences will begin at 1pm and run until 6pm. Students will be released from school at 12:15pm and classes will run on an Early Out Schedule.

The Librarians will also be holding a Book Fair during PTC in the Library.

Join us at the 3rd annual Fremont High Book Fair September 24th - 27th in the Library. The Fair will be open during lunches and during Parent Teacher Conference.

WSU Concurrent Enrollment Advising

Representatives from Weber State University will be at Fremont High School on Thursday September 12th during FLEX to do an informational session about concurrent enrollment. If you would like to attend please see Lisa Burton in the CTE office.

Academic advisors from Weber State University will be at Fremont on Thursdsay September 19th. If students and/or parents would like to meet with them please contact your counselor or the CTE office to schedule an appointment.

Sept 26th - Disaster Medical Operations Part 1 (Weber Fire/Ogden Fire)

Oct 3rd - Disaster Medical Operation Part 2 (Weber Fire), Light Search & Rescue (Jeff Stark)

Oct 10th - Disaster Simulation - Hands on Exercise

 

Students must complete the online training before attending the in-class hands-on training.
