Principal's Message - August 2018

Welcome Back

We are gearing up for what promises to be another fantastic year at Fremont High. Our student government officers met earlier this summer and planned a year full of great student activities. They chose the year theme of Pack United. This is a great representation of how we feel about our students and stakeholders at Fremont High School. We’ve seen the power for good that comes when all of us, students, teachers, staff, and community, work together.

Construction of New Addition

The 12 classroom addition is nearly complete. The last phase of construction includes finishing the hall flooring and landscaping. Hogan Construction, Bott-Pantone architects, and our district personnel have been fantastic to work with on every phase of the project. Attention to precise details (such as custom brick) helped to ensure that the new building blends well with the existing structure. It's beautiful inside and out. The classrooms are fully functional and are equipped with innovative student furniture and the latest technology. Most importantly, by increasing the permanent capacity of our building, we have eased the growing pains we have felt for the past 15 years.

Homecoming

Homecoming week is September 4-8. There will be activities planned for students each evening with the parade on Thursday the 6th, the football game against Layton on Friday the 7th, and the Homecoming Dance from 7-10 PM on Saturday the 8th at the Golden Spike Event Center. Please be aware of the dance dress code policy, which can be found on the School Policy page of the school website, before purchasing clothing for the dance.

2018-19 is going to be a fantastic year! We look forward to having you back to school.
