Shane Denton is beginning his 15th year here at Fremont.  He loves Fremont and has only taught here.  He is also a football and wrestling coach and the P.M. School Principal.  He is married and has 2 kids.  When he isn’t at Fremont he likes to camp and go four-wheeling.

  • Why I am in Education: I love to teach and I love being around young kids. I want to impact others lives and teaching is a rewarding way to do that. Math is a difficult subject for most people and I wanted to help students be successful. I also love being around athletics and inspiring athletes to surpass their expectations. I love to see students perform and succeed in their many talents.

Whitney attended UVU, BYUH, and finished her Math Education degree at Weber State University. Whitney grew up in Hooper and is a former silver wolf. Whitney loves playing sports and while she attending Fremont, she played on the volleyball, basketball and golf teams. Whitney is an assistant coach for the girls basketball team. She was recently married to her husband (also former silver wolf). They live in Hooper with their long haired Chihuahua Jack. Whitney is looking forward to another year at Fremont and loves being back.

Fremont has been home to me ever since I attended as a student and graduated in 2005. Not long after graduating I began coaching swimming for Fremont and soon after began teaching math. I look forward to each new year of teaching. When I am not teaching or at the pool I love to spend time with my wife and son.

Rob Stoffers has been teaching at Fremont for 9 years.  He has been in education for 20 years total.  He is married and has 4 kids.  Besides teaching math as Fremont he is also the boy’s tennis coach, an Academic Olympiad advisor and a Driver’s Ed. Instructor.  When he isn’t fulfilling his school responsibilities he enjoys hiking, biking, climbing, backpacking, golf, canyoneering, mountaineering, fishing, reading, kayaking, canoeing and rappelling.
