Gena K. Lott comes to Fremont from West Weber Elementary, where she worked for 9 years as Media Aide.  However, her background in library extends to college and junior high libraries as well as elementary.  Mrs. Lott has always been a “Book Geek”-- when she was in high school you would find her either in the library looking for a new book, or reading in a secluded corner before class started.  Her favorite book is usually whatever she is reading at the moment although she has read “The Lord of the Rings” series and the “Harry Potter” series multitudinous times.  Mrs. Lott has a husband, one married daughter, 2 adorable grandsons, and a ridiculous dog, Coco, who wants to travel to Argentina on vacation.

I was born in Logan Utah and have lived in Brigham City, Bear River, Corrine, Roy and Salt Lake City while growing up. I’ve also lived in Oregon, Idaho, Jordan, Egypt, Israel and Turkey. But I make Farr West Utah my home town. I love exploring the back trails, valleys and mountain tops of this beautiful state as well as the other places I have been. Before coming to Fremont, I was a secretary at Weber Innovation High School and I was an elementary librarian for 20 years at Farr West Elementary. My husband and I are the parents of 6 children and grandparents of 10 grand-children. Life is fabulous, it’s as simple as that!
