Wear form-fitting exercise clothing (within school dress code) and come prepared to learn, perform, and improvise contemporary and jazz routines. You DO NOT need to prepare choreography beforehand.
Check-in will start at 2:45pm and the audition will begin at 3:00pm.
Applications due May 8th at 2:30pm.
Who We Are
Fremont High School’s Dance Company is an artistic, extracurricular performing arts student organization. We are a community of dancers who support each other, the arts, and share our passion for dance with others in and outside of our local community. We strive to expand our experiential knowledge in technique, creativity, and artistic expression through exploration, exercises, conditioning/strength training, master classes, choreography and performance opportunities.
As a member of the Dance Company, you will perform in Fremont’s Dance Department concert, school sports games (half-times), assemblies, community events, the district concert, and in the state UDEO festival and adjudications. You will also have opportunities to take master classes from other experienced dance professionals/educators.
