Fremont High 1st Annual Special Needs Basketball Game

On February 6th Fremont high hosted the first annual Special Needs Basketball Game.  It was a success and everyone loved it.  Standard Examiner was there and ran a wonderful article on the event which can be found here: https://www.standard.net/news/education/fremont-high-hopes-to-start-new-tradition-after-special-needs/article

Deca Community Service Project

DECA is also involved in a community service project.

Fremont Students are working hard on it and putting "packs" together at certain times after school. I have a bunch of the stuff in the front of my room for a "pile of donations" picture too.

I am excited to inform you I have two Fremont High Students who were nominated and selected to receive the Ogden Weber Technical College Outstanding High School Student awards. I would like to bring someone from my admin and possibly their instructor that nominated them into one of their classrooms at Fremont High School and congratulate them. Can you help me arrange this for Hetvi Patel and Jordan Searle? Or let me know who you would like me to arrange this with? Thank you so much- we are excited to recognize these two amazing students at Fremont High school.

 Fremont High Business Department

Fremont High School business competition for students with the hopes that you’ll extend this opportunity to your students!
- Teams are asked to provide a brief, 2-3 sentence summary addressing fundamental issues of interest to potential investors. Teams must also create a basic 90-second video pitch. Both should highlight the most important and interesting elements of the business that lead a potential investor to understand why your venture will succeed. Submissions will be accepted up until 11:59 pm on January 18th.

- Each of the five finalist teams will present their businesses to a panel of judges, the presentation time will be limited to ten minutes.

- The judging panel consists of entrepreneurs and other successful and knowledgeable business leaders. Judges will not be affiliated with, or involved in the preparation or funding of, any participating team. The decision of the judging panel will be final and will not be subject to appeal. The overall selection of winners is based on the viability and likely success of the business, including the quality of the overall presentation.
