Fremont Art Department

Fremont students enter the Eccles Art Center’s “Northern Utah High School Art Competition.” Our second competition looks to be just as successful as the first. Your students work is amazing and we are thrilled that each of them considered entering our competition.

Fremont High’s Abigail Anopol received an award for her photograph. She won fourth place at the Weber School District Senate Art Show for her photograph. Here is a photo of her with her picture.

Fremont  Also showcased Kolby Huss and Brianna Kuglar who have some of their photographs hanging in the Northern Utah High School Art Show at the Eccles Art Gallery in Ogden.

Fremont FFA members organized the FFA Kash 4 Kids fundraiser this year. Money was raised in classroom competitions, dummy roping during lunches, and through donations from local businesses and community members. FFA members secured the donations, shopped for the family, wrapped and delivered the gifts. We were able to sponsor one local family in need and help with the school's main K4K efforts.

Fremont Special Needs Annual Basketball Game

Fremont high hosted the 2nd annual Special Needs Basketball Game.  It was a success and everyone loved it.

On Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, six Fremont NHS officers:  Allison Stuart, Garrett Baker, Adison Draper, Ashlyn Mumford, Aanika Heslop and Tyson Charlesworth, and advisor Collette Remy met at the Roy Police Station Garage to help clean the facility.  This service project included cleaning out the station cage and scrubbing it down before reorganizing the items as they were returned to the cage.  Also, the floor was swept and scrubbed.  Charlesworth and Baker, helped one of the Roy Policemen build a bike rack for the station's bikes, thus organizing the garage further.  After two and a half hours scrubbing and sweeping, the station provided a pizza lunch for the Honor Society Officers.
