Rules and Information
- All Fremont students are entitled to use the Media Center to check
out books; they must have picture I.D. unless coming to the library
with a class, in which case the teacher may vouch for the student. - The Media Center is to be used for research, study, checking-
in/out, printing, and quiet conversation. Students who misuse their
privilege or Media Center services, may lose their right to use the
Media Center entirely. - The Media Center is open from 7:15-3:00 p.m. daily except when
special activities have been pre-arranged. - No food or drink is allowed. Water is okay, but must be stored
in backpacks or on the floor. - Books should be returned on or before the due date, otherwise
students will be charged an overdue fine of 10¢ per school day for
every day the book is late. - Books must to be checked out properly at the circulation desk.
Books not checked out that leave the Media Center are
considered stolen and those individuals responsible will be
prosecuted accordingly. - Remember: when you check out a book, you are responsible for it.
Any book that is damaged beyond reasonable wear will be
assessed a damaged fee. All lost books shall also be charged to
the borrower’s account with a reprocessing fee. - Please—take a moment before leaving the Media Center to check
your books for damage. Bring anything of concern to the attention
of the staff.
