Seussical the Musical!
We are hard at work already with Seussical! Show dates are January 17 & 18. Tickets will be available starting in October at fhs.wsd.net. We had auditions for the show this past week, and ended up with close to 90 students in the production. We will also be adding a live orchestra and stage crew with around 30-40 additional students. Each of these students will spend weeks learning all the music, choreography, blocking, and scene changes for the show. I will try to send you more pictures and updates as they come.
Fremont Art Department
The Fremont Art Department has been incredibly busy this past month.
We have participated in several art shows and are gearing up for the Springville State Show this month as well as our annual school show and the District Art Show in the Spring.
Several student's works were selected to be hung in the juried Northern Utah High School show at Eccles Community Art Center in Ogden. This was a competitive show and over half of the pieces entered were not juried in.
Mariah Thurgood was honored with the "Juror's Choice" award and was awarded a $1500 scholarship to a school of her choice. Congratulations!
These students have their work on exhibit throughout January 26th.

Sterling Scholars
Sterling Scholars are among the top of the class in the United States. These students have shown the skill and aptitude that sets them apart from the rest of their fellow students. They are nominated based on their Scholarship and Test Scores, Leadership Qualities, and Citizenship and Community Service. Each of these students is an example of what it means to be a hard worker, and what it means to be a Silverwolf. Congratulations to all Sterling Scholar nominees.
