Treasurer Report- Anne Kendrick

Expenses for Jan: $77.77 for fundraiser, $6.00
Membership Report
-127 active members

Mr Fremont was last week
Attendance credit makeup is coming up. All parents have received emails with
information
Parent Teacher Conferences coming up
Jr high tour this year will be biggest ever – almost 800 kids
Feb 6-10 counselor appreciation
Legislative Report- Shauna Dalton
Legislative Sessions happening now
Discussion on state voucher bill – House Bill 215
o Utah PTA is opposing the bill
Reflections Chair Report- Trudy Petersen
-Region Awards held 17 January, Had 2 from Fremont
-Utah State awards- April TBD
Trudy will create flyer for next year’s Reflections
Teacher Conference Treats- Adrienne Gray
Working to get an Ice Cream Sunday bar, with donated ice cream
Back up plan to make pies for teachers
Teacher Appreciation- Michelle/Melissa
Planning underway for teacher appreciation week in May
100 teachers at the school, 150 total staff
Fundraising Report- Amanda Taylor
Fundraising letter for grad party is drafted
Letters sent to larger corporations this month
o Credit Unions
o Maverick
o Lifetime
o Minky Coutoure
Adrienne will send stake letters again
Letter to parents by March 1
2023/24 Nominating Committee Report- Miranda, Trudy, Adrienne
Letters went out asking for volunteers
Need to have nominees by end of month
Send emails to Jr High parents as well
Graduation Party- Amanda Taylor
Will send out volunteer letter April 1, ask parents to come volunteer
Google survey sent to students. 172 students responded (roughly 25-30%)
o Using the results to support decision making
o Will put together solid plans by March meeting
